The SewGrateful Project

A lasting symbol of our gratitude

To commemorate and honor all of our frontline healthcare workers fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, we are undertaking the creation of a special edition 8' x 12' SewGrateful Flag made from the uniforms worn by healthcare workers every day.

Stitched from the fabric of those holding us together

The design of this one-of-a-kind SewGrateful Flag will pay homage to those who represent the best of us, with the stars and stripes constructed from sanitized scrubs, lab coats, mask, and other materials donated from healthcare workers across the country.

Made in America. Made by America.

An artifact for sharing and honoring

The goal of the SewGrateful Project is to collect, assemble, and then display this special flag. If you represent an organization that would like to use the SewGrateful Flag for a public event or display hanging to honor and thank healthcare workers, please contact us at
